Lymphography involves injecting, from a lymphatic duct of the back of the foot, a contrast agent in the deep lymphatic, iliac, lumbo-aortic and thoracic duct chains. This product of contrast aims to color the lymphatic chains, to find a lymphatic leak and to plug this leak thanks to its therapeutic function. The injected product, Lipiodol®, is a viscous oil, produced from poppy seeds.
