They can be of several types: - Benign skin tumors (moles, nevi, wart, etc.) - Malignant skin tumors (melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell) A skin tumor can therefore be removed for cosmetic reasons or because the lesion is suspicious and requires analysis.
