Gastric emptying scintigraphy makes it possible to monitor the emptying of a radiolabelled test meal by external counting. It is a non-invasive and physiological method which makes it possible to objectify and quantify gastric evacuation disorders. Main indication: Diagnosis and follow-up of diabetic gastroparesis. Diagnosis and follow-up of Gastroparesis of vagotomies. Diagnosis and follow-up of dyspeptic syndrome.
