These are the QSwitched lasers (NdYag type). Their light energy will be captured by the melanin (brown pigment) in the skin, without burning or abrasion of the superficial skin layer. Pigments are destroyed or fragmented by the energy delivered. Therefore, they can be eliminated by the repairing cells of the skin (macrophage cells that rid the tissues of foreign bodies), leaving room for a clearer skin.
